My boys love dragons. And I’m pretty fascinated with them, too. I mean, what isn’t cool about a giant, scaled beast that can fly and breathe fire? And if you’re a regular reader around here, you know how much we love doing dragon crafts.
I’ve rounded up my of my favorite easy kid’s dragon crafts from around the web (plus a few from around here!).

Learn how to make your own dragon hobby horse. This is going on my list of “must-make” crafts. I know the boys are going to love this one. I think this craft was how I first found Emma’s blog Kids Craft Room. I adore her crafts and art projects.
This is, by far, one of the most-loved projects we’ve done. When we made it the first time, the boys kept it around forever. I kept finding it in bed with them or in odd places. We recently re-made it and I did a video to show how it goes together.
This dragon sock puppet is another awesome craft from Kids Craft Room. Even better? It’s no-sew, so even if you aren’t comfortable with using a needle and thread you can whip this one up easily.
I love how There’s Just One Mommy put together this awesome dragon cake. Can you guess what clever trick she used to make the dragon shape? She also has a link to instructions on how she created a dragon pinata.
I love the simple and beautiful dragon costume from this post on Mama Smiles.
With some cardboard boxes a couple other supplies, you can whip up this awesome cardboard dragon costume.
See how to make a dragon out of a paper plate on Pink Stripey Socks. These look incredible. And I love how colorful they are!
I love these pipe cleaner dragons from Frugal Fun 4 Boys. Another one of those simple crafts that you probably have all the materials for laying around.
Think of a paper airplane, but in dragon form. Just print it out, put it together, and let it fly. Seriously cool and seriously fun.
Hope you enjoyed these fun dragon crafts for kids!
