Monsters! (Of the adorable kind)
I don’t enjoy creepy or scary things very much – they’re just not my cup of tea. But I do love adorable monsters. (Like Ludo – anyone else a Labyrinth fan?) I’ve ended up creating quite a collection of adorably fun and simple monster crafts over the years, and I thought I’d share those all with you in one place. Whether you’re looking for a simple craft to print to use in your classroom for Halloween or want a little extra monster fun for your kids, look no further.

Monster Stick Puppets – So simple, but so fun. If you’re looking for a one-page, print-and-go activity (you really just need scissors, glue, and craft sticks), this is it.
Monster Finger Puppets – If you’re looking for something that only needs scissors, then these are for you!
Monster Felt Puppets – This craft takes a little more materials and planning, but it’s made super simple by the my free pattern. You can also use the pattern as a base to design your own.
Mix-n-match Monster Blocks – These are currently only available in my big papercraft pack, but they make a fantastic Halloween activity (or just a fun craft for monster-loving kiddos!).

3D Spider Papercraft
This spider papercraft was a HUGE hit a couple years ago when I released it. It’s a bit more complex than some of my papercrafts, so it’s probably best for upper elementary, though younger students may be able to do it with help. Monster Books
The Monster at the End of This Book – I loved this book as a kid, and my own kids enjoy it now, too. (It’s always fun when books “interact” with the reader!)
Have You Seen My Monster? – Another amazing book by Steve Light, this book has a little girl exploring a country fair and spotting her monster (along with lots of shapes).
Julia’s House for Lost Creatures – Beautiful illustrated and delightfully written, this is one of those books my kids don’t just enjoy reading but love sitting to look slowly through the pictures.
