Around here, we’re ALL about easy crafts for kids that aren’t boring. And it doesn’t get much easier than this one! Today we have a fun little papercraft tree for you. It’s a single page, doesn’t have a lot of steps, and doesn’t even need glue to put together!

Castle Papercraft

And while this makes an amazing Christmas craft, it can also work just as a regular tree! This little guy would pair perfectly with the castle papercraft from our big Papercraft Pack in our Etsy shop. Add in a dragon, and you’ve got a full playset for kids to use their figures with.

Let’s jump into creating the craft!

Materials:

  • Cardstock*
  • Crayons
  • Scissors
  • Free PDF – get it with the form at the bottom of this post (jump straight there)

*I used regular printer paper, but it was a little floppy and a smidge difficult to get it to stand. I’d recommend using cardstock if at all possible.

Instructions:

Print it out.

Color it. Make sure to color both sides, because when we put it together, the back will be visible, too.

Cut it out both parts of the tree.

Also cut carefully down the middle line of each part of the tree.

And there we have it! Our little papercraft tree.

And this craft is great for a classroom, library, or co-op because it can fold completely flat, making it easy for kids to take home in a folder or backpack.
