Cat Papercraft
This adorable cat papercraft is easy to assemble – though young kids may need a hand with putting the main body together. And it looks super cute perched somewhere!

I love making 3D papercrafts – they really help inspire kids’ creativity, and they love to see something come to life.
Everything for this papercraft is on one page (just watch out for those little paws!). And I purposefully design my papercrafts to be printer & copier friendly, so even if you need to print a lot of copies for your classroom, library, or kids group, it won’t waste a lot of ink!
Materials:
- Crayons, markers, etc.
- Scissors
- Glue – We used both a glue stick and liquid glue for different parts, but feel free to use what you have on hand
- PDF of craft

You can either have your kids or students assemble the papercraft as it is, or let them color it for extra fun.
This is a great craft to do as a companion activity to a book!
One of my favorite picture books when I was a kid was My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes. Though the copy from my grandma’s house was long-lost by the time I had kids, we bought our own copy. And it’s still one of our favorites! It’s repetition and sing-song rhymes make it such a fun read-aloud.
