Printable Giraffe Craft
Today I have an adorable little giraffe papercraft for you! It’s super simple to put together – perfect for early elementary (or even preschoolers with a little help!).

This craft is in black and white, so kids can color them on their own (and you won’t use up a ton of ink!).
Materials:
- Paper – regular paper is perfect for this, but you can print it on cardstock if you want it to hold up longer
- Scissors
- Glue – I’d recommend gluesticks for this craft. You can use regular glue, but just make sure your kids or students go light with it!

Giraffe Craft Tutorial

They’re super simple to put together. What we’re going to do is go ahead and cut out around all the parts, and then I’ll show you how to assemble them. Let’s go ahead and get started!
First, fold on all the dotted lines.
Then fold this little tab. This is where we’ll attach our head.
Glue along the long edge of the craft, where it’s marked.
Then carefully seal the edge together. If your kids fingers are long enough, have them reach in and pinch to secure the seam.
If you’re doing this craft with younger kids who have smaller fingers, have them use a pencil – slide it into the craft, just under the seam, and have them press against it. This helps make sure the seam glues well, and the craft holds together!
Now we’re ready to attach our giraffe head! Add a dab of glue to the little tab we folded earlier, and then attach the head piece.
And there we have it – the adorable little giraffe is done!

This craft is perfect for early elementary kids. Preschoolers can do it as well, but they may need a little more help.
What paper should I print this on?
You can print it (and copy it) on regular paper. If you want to hold up a little longer, I’d recommend cardstock.

Yes, absolutely! You can use any of the crafts I offer (paid or free) in a group setting. Just don’t share the original file with others.
