Remember our adorable robot finger puppets from a couple weeks ago? Today I’m going to show you how to make felt monster finger puppets. These are some of my favorite little projects to make. They are so quick and easy to put together, and they turn so cute. And I love when a project can have an added bonus of being a practical toy for the boys to play with.
As you know, I’m a huge fan of crafts that are print and go. No mess, no fuss – just fun! I made up these fun little robot finger puppets for the boys. And they were a much bigger hit than I thought they’d be! They played with them a long time, and had a bunch of fun running them around the house.
These robot felt finger puppets were so fun and easy to make. I love working with felt because it’s simple to use – even if you don’t really know what you’re doing, you can make something that turns out looking pretty awesome!
This dragon marionette puppet is a simple and fun craft for kids. It only requires a few supplies to make, and is tons of fun to play with when it’s done. My two year old enjoyed “feeding” his dragon some tacos when we read Dragons Love Tacos (our new favorite book!).
So far this has been the most loved printable craft I’ve made for my boys. There were actually tears the first night over who got to sleep with the blocks before I had a chance to print off a second set. Who knew that a set of robot blocks could be so loved?
You can print off and assemble your own little set of mix-n-match robot blocks.

We made a cute moose sock puppet a while back. I thought it would be fun to make the boys a puppet theater to go along with the puppet. We used a large cardboard box, and it turned out great! Recognize the box? We definitely like to re-use things around here. It’s from our […]
Ahoy mateys! Welcome to our fourth day of pirate week here at Create in the Chaos. I’ve got a great tutorial for you today – a tutorial for a cardboard treasure box.
I’ve got two fun, simple projects for you for our third day of pirate week! Iām going to show you how to make a pirate flag and a simple treasure map. We’re going to start with the flag today.
I came up with this fun cardboard box castle for the boys to play with. They thought it was awesome – especially the tower you can drop people down and the “secret door” I added in the back. Something to know going into this craft – it’s functional and durable as opposed to super pretty,…
If You Give a Moose a Muffin is one of the favorite books around our house. I made a moose sock puppet for when I read the book to the boys. Though now they mostly like to chase each other around with it and pretending to eat muffins.
Today I’m going to show you how to make this fun little puppet!
