I’ve been on the search for the perfect barbecue sauce for a while now. “Perfect” for us means something husband and boys won’t react to (finding food they don’t react to sometimes seems like an impossible task). It needed to be nightshade free, so not tomato based. I tried the bbq sauce recipe from The Paleo Approach Cookbook but it’s very high in FODMAPs which Tim and the boys react to – in this case a huge concentration of apple and onion.
